Junior Project Engineer – Industrial IoT (m/f/d)

As a Junior Project Engineer, you will be part of a collaborative team, supporting customers and development teams in building high-quality, customer-focused Industrial IoT solutions.

Your Tasks

  • Support the integration of our products by building customer-specific test and integration setups and managing the technical needs of key customers
  • Participate in verification and validation activities to deepen your product and system know-how
  • Provide hands-on project engineering services, including software applications, scripts, configurations, and tooling
  • Create and maintain integrated lab environments used for development and testing
  • Handle modified-off-the-shelf (MOTS) solution deliveries
  • Manage low-complexity technical projects with growing autonomy

Your Profile

  • Technical education (HTL, FH, TU) or equivalent practical background
  • Knowledge or initial experience in one or more programming languages (C, C++, Python, Java, C#)
  • First experience in IoT software development, industrial control systems, or industrial communication protocols is an advantage
  • Practical experience in Linux application programming
  • Basic understanding of agile development or modern project management practices
  • Very good English skills, basic German skills are a plus

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade ("Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe") and we offer a minimum salary of € 47,000 gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
