Senior Embedded Software Architect – Mobile Machinery (m/f/d)
Developing smart and reliable electronic control units and software platforms for innovative mobile machines is our passion. You will define the SW architecture within the Infineon TriCore platform of TTControl ensuring a portable, generic and modular concept, which will be used throughout our safety critical controller family for mobile machinery use.
Your Tasks
- Development of software architecture for use in embedded safety related Off-Highway ECUs
- Contribution to system architecture development in close cooperation with our customers
- Compliance with industry standards and best practices, focusing on safety, security, performance and reliability
- Feasibility analysis and requirements clarification with external and internal customers
- Ensuring synergy and reuse between products of the same platform
- Providing guidance, mentorship for software developers and technical leadership in projects
- Evaluation of technological trends
Your Profile
- University degree in a technical field of study preferably with reference to computer science
- Profound experience in embedded software development, preferably in an architectural role
- Excellent programming skills in C/C++
- Knowledge of UML or other architecture description language
- Experience with safety-related development (e.g. according to IEC 61508, ISO 13849, ISO 26262)
- Experience with Infineon TriCore Architectures and Real-Time Operating Systems
- Being a good communicator and convincing with a high level of social and technical competence
- Very good command of English, German is a plus

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade ("Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe") and we offer a minimum salary of € 69,000 gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
