Senior Strategic Procurement Manager – Aerospace (m/f/d)

In this role, you will lead strategic procurement initiatives and continuously evolve our supplier management framework. You will develop and qualify high‑performing suppliers, negotiate competitive and resilient commercial agreements, and proactively manage supplier risks, contracts, and compliance requirements. Working closely with Product Management, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and the central Supply Chain Management organization, you will translate complex technical and regulatory requirements into effective sourcing strategies that enhance performance, foster innovation, and ensure supply chain stability across aerospace programs.

Your Tasks

  • Analyze and define supply chain requirements for TTTECH’s Aerospace market, ensuring alignment with business objectives and program needs
  • Evaluate, manage, and develop the strategic supplier portfolio, including active relationship management and support of key contractual topics
  • Analyze international procurement markets and conduct supplier and market benchmarking to assess competitiveness, technical capabilities, and capacity developments
  • Define, monitor, and continuously improve supply chain performance, including supply chain processes, supplier portfolio structure, and KPI frameworks
  • Align supply chain and business strategy by actively managing and improving interfaces between the Aerospace organization and the supply chain to optimize performance and efficiency
  • Ensure transparency on material availability by monitoring inventory levels, logistics flows, consignment stock, and delivery performance in close collaboration with the SCM team
  • Oversee supplier‑related financial and contractual topics, including invoice status, discrepancy management, pricing updates, cost‑control documentation, customer requirement flow‑down, and supplier credit exposure
  • Maintain and update the supply chain risk register, including regular risk assessments, mitigation actions, forecasting activities, purchase order monitoring, compliance, and audit support

Your Profile

  • University degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in electronics or semiconductor sourcing, ideally within complex, high‑reliability industries
  • Solid understanding of compliance requirements, including export control, quality standards, and audit processes; Aviation or Space know-how is a plus
  • Contracting know-how, specifically US experience would be beneficial
  • Demonstrated strength in strategic thinking, analytical and financial skills, combined with a structured and systematic work approach
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience collaborating across functions such as Product Management and Internal Supply Chain, with ability to drive change and influence stakeholders
  • High sustainability awareness combined with strong communication skills and a collaborative, solution‑oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills in English

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade ("Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe") and we offer a minimum salary of € 63,000 gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
