As an experienced Testing & Validation Engineer, you need to oversee the execution of verification/testing and validation activities, particularly electronic control units (ECUs) serving the interests of all involved stakeholders. Ensure adherence to deadlines, budgets, quality standards, and compliance with company and industry-specific standards. Ensure that systems meet functional, safety, and cybersecurity requirements. 


Your Tasks:

 

  • Manage and coordinate activities within the overall project
  • Develop customer-specific electronic control units (ECUs) including requirements analysis, architectural studies and designs, implementation and configuration, integration testing, verification, and documentation.
  • Oversee the full test management lifecycle: from initiation to execution to monitoring and control
  • Support the definition of ECU technical content and technical specification
  • Support ECU-level system architecture and software quality assurance in line with AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, and ISO 21434 standards, with a focus on testing and verification.
  • Plan, steer, and execute design verification and product validation activities

 

Your Profile:

 

  • University degree in a technical field of study
  • Expert Knowledge about Safety System Designs
  • Knowledge in Embedded Systems
  • Understand and apply fail-operational principles and its methodologies
  • Design, develop, and test hardware components and systems
  • Employ software integration tools, including system modeling and Basic Software (BSW) configuration tools like Vector or Electrobit
  • Use advanced testing tools for unit testing and static/dynamic analysis · Experience in Project & Operational Management
  • Results- and Solution-Orientation aswell as Conflict Resolution
  • Excellent command of English, German is an advantage

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (“Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe”) and we offer a minimum salary of € 53,000 gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
